ABOUT SAAM
The Society For the Advancement of Artists And Musicians (SAAM) was established in early 2017 as the non-profit arm of Suna Studios, Western Canada’s largest Creative Space Provider. Partnering with other local non-profits and Interest Groups, SAAM provides space for a variety of different programming opportunities. Some examples include music therapy for vulnerable children and adults, recognition and award programs for local creatives and all ages festivals and events.

Since it’s inception, SAAM has been actively involved with the opening of over 30,000 square feet of cultural spaces. Because of our many years of experience communicating with local artists and groups who face multiple barriers, we at SAAM have positioned ourselves as experts in the fields of artistic startups, facilities setup and operations management. We are active consultants on numerous creative projects both public and private and have partnered with various creative entities to help streamline their operations to better serve their communities and ensure their longevity.
